Kim and David are Vietnamese Americans. When they decided to return to Vietnam for their wedding, they shared with Olwen how much they love the ao dai and Vietnamese culture.

Before the big day, we spent a quiet afternoon in Hoi An with them. Dressed in vibrant red ao dai, walking hand in hand under the rain and golden lanterns, they embraced the beauty of a place they had only seen through photos while living abroad.

For Olwen, this photoshoot was more than just a pre-wedding session. It was a way for Kim and David to connect with their roots, to feel the culture of their homeland in the most genuine way. Simple moments, yet deeply meaningful.
